Hot, Hot Pink

China Glaze in Shocking Pink

As a nail polish fanatic, I can't help but to feel a rush of excitement when I spot a color I've never seen before! I was just in the store, cruising down the aisles, and perusing the nail polish colors. Then, BAM! I see this amazing hot pink color in the corner of my eyes and my life pretty much changed (over exaggerating, but you get the point). This happened two weeks ago and I haven't taken it off since; for that matter, my nails haven't chipped at all, which I'm really impressed by!

Anyways, this color is perfect for people who want to jump in on the neon trend. I'm going to look for other neon polishes (yellow, green, blue, and purple are on the list!!). So if you have any suggestions, hit me up!

Toothpick Cords

J.Crew Toothpick Cords (here)

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you should know that I am obsessed with J.Crew. I've been a long time lover of their tops, sweater, skirts, and accessories. However, I haven't had much luck with their pants/denim. Up until now.

Enter my new toothpick cords. I found these at a local consignment store for a great price and I was sold as soon as I saw the zippers at the ankles! Then I realized they were corduroys... To be honest, I've never owned a pair of corduroys. So I was a little hesitant. But when I tried them on, I fell madly in love! I also think they're a great color. The photos don't exactly capture the dark royal blue/navy color mixture!

So this weekend, I learned a couple of things. I like pants that have zippers at the ankles. I like the way J.Crew pants fit/feel/look (at least the toothpick ones). Now, I'm off to J.Crew's website to look for more toothpick pants. Hopefully I'll find a pair of great jeans because I haven't found any in a long time. Wish me luck!

Painted On

Drumroll please... for the newest addition to my closet; the Rebecca Minkoff MAB. I told you that I found it at my latest adventure to Marshalls and it's absolutely perfect! It fits a lot of my textbooks and my Macbook! Plus it's light weight and great for shopping.  My favorite feature of this bag is the "painted on" effect. Don't you love it when you find a great bag?

Wooden Heels

A couple weeks  ago, I bought these lovely babies for $20 at Banana Republic. Honestly, I think this is the best deal I've gotten on a pair of shoes yet! The heels are much taller than what I'm used to, but I'll learn how to walk in them soon. I was planning on wearing them for graduation, especially so that I'll be able to make up for the height difference between me and my friends in pictures.

I imagine myself wearing these with dark wash skinny jeans, wide legged jeans, and floral dresses. So excited for the summer to come!

The Charlize

I bought this Kate Spade bag at Marshalls (aka. my favorite store in the entire world) a couple of months ago and have brought it out of the closet for the Spring! The first thing I fell in love with was the classic Kate Spade pyramid turn lock closure! I literally could not stop turning it; I still feel like I'm a child sometimes, haha. I also love the quilted part of the bag, especially because it reminds me of Chanel! Lastly, I adore the nude color. It's so easy to pair with any outfit!

In celebration of the fact that I was able to get my hands on this baby at a much lower price at Marshalls, tell me what your best purchase at Marshalls has been! I'm dying to know.

Booties

As I mentioned before, I'm really not into shoes. But when I see a pair that I really, really like, I get them! I recently bought these Carlos Brooky booties at DSW. I've seen so many models/celebs wearing the infamous Isabel Marant booties. However, they're way out of my budget. So, I was so excited to see these! Normally, I don't ever wear heels to school. But for these, I can make an exception because they aren't too high! They look great with a skirt, skinny jeans, or flared jeans. I'll be posting several outfit posts with these, so stay tuned!

Mall Finds

Forever 21 ring
H&M bracelets
Forever 21 earrings
(I was wearing the missing third pair while taking this photo!)

When I went to the mall, I picked up a couple of accessories and a new nail polish. Whenever I'm looking for accessories, I go straight to H&M or Forever 21 because most of the stuff is under six dollars. Plus, they have the cutest things. For instance, the bracelets with the city names. I've been wearing them constantly and haven't been taking them off! I also love my new ring because it's something I've never seen before.

Bangle

I've never been a jewelry person. But this summer, when I went to a Kate Spade store, I saw this bangle and knew I had to get it. The outside has the fish-scale detailing and on the inside, "Go with the Flow" is engraved. "Go with the Flow" is such a good motto for me, since I'm always super stressed! Anyways, this bangle is always on the right wrist; I love it way too much. I can't wait until the summer, when I can wear more short sleeved shirts and show my bangle off!

Sam Edelman Etiene Loafers

I'm sitting at my laptop, typing with such a huge smile on my face. A few hours ago, I was at Marshalls and made my way to the sale shoe rack. Low and behold, I saw these beautiful Sam Edelman loafers. To make everything even better, they were marked down to $25! I'm still in shock about how cheap they were. I can't wait to do outfit posts with these babies. Aren't they gorgeous?

Tory Flats

I love my Tory Burch flats because they honestly look so good with anything. The first pair I bought are way too big, but I still wear them because love the alligator-esque texture. This past Christmas, my parents bought me the classic, black flats in a small size of course! Since the flats I currently own are kind of boring in color, I can't wait to buy more colorful and unique flats from Tory Burch!
