Long time no blog!

I apologize for the lack of posts! It's been two weeks since I've arrived in Korea and I'm finally getting settled. I got over my jet lag and I'm getting used to the extremely humid and hot weather! My mom has been keeping me and my brother busy with plans. Fro eating with relatives to meeting with friends, everyday has literally been so busy. Today is the first day I've been able to sit down and go on my mac!       I've missed blogging so much! I've been taking some pictures on my digital camera on my adventures in Seoul (big city in Korea where my grandparents lives). But as you'll see, it doesn't take very good pictures when it's dark/very little lighting. I wish I brought my nice Canon with me but it was too heavy. Anyways, continuing with the post...

My mom, grandparents, brother, aunt, cousins, and I went to Gyungju last weekend! Gyungju is a popular tourist attraction, famous for the food and historic buildings! I had so much fun seeing all of the beautiful buildings! OH, and I finally got to wear my Raybans because it was super sunny! Also, I got to fly a kite for the very first time!! I sucked at it but my brother and cousins were amazing at it.

I'm a graduate!

It feels so weird to be writing (or should I say typing) for this blog! It's been way too long since I've done a legit post, so here I am. Just a quick&little update on my life. My last day of high school was two weeks ago, but I graduated this past Saturday! It was such a great experience, walking across the stage in front of my classmates and family and friends. High school's been a long 4 years, but looking back, everything was worth it. I also went to Boston two weekends ago for my college's orientation (I'm going to Boston College next year! Any BC alumni out there?) Needless to say, the month of June has been crazy busy and I'm actually leaving for Korea this Saturday. Korea is where most of my relatives are, so I'm really excited to see them! Hopefully, I'll have access to the Internet at my grandparents's apartment. 

Sorry for my lack of posting, but I've just been trying to relax, spend some time with my friends before I leave for Korea, and catch up on episodes of "How I Met Your Mother". Anyways, I'm back for the week! I'll try to post daily, so make sure to check back!

PINTEREST! and I'm in love. I've resisted my friends' pleas for me to get a Twitter and an Instagram. But when I came across Pinterest, I couldn't resist the temptation. Neon pink is my new favorite color. Gap currently has some great selection of bright-colored clothes right now! I picked up a few basic tees while I was there over the weekend and this pink tee is one of them. I really like that it has super short sleeves and the material feels so soft and light against my skin! I decided to wear my top with dark wash jeans because I like the contrast of bright and dark. And let's not forget the arm candy (aka. the best part of an outfit).

The summer... according to J.Crew! I frequently rely on J.Crew's lookbooks for everyday outfit inspiration and their summer edition (here) is no exception! I think they hit the nail on all of the trends. From animal print to color blocking to polka dots to bright colors, they covered everything.

The Golden Heel

Just wanted to let you know... I'm obsessed with my new shoes! I found them at Marshalls (where I find most of my prized possessions) and I couldn't resist taking them home. Where do I begin with these shoes?! I love: the nude colored straps, beaded front, and most of all, the golden heel! The golden heel reminds me of these shoes! I need to find more shoes with this type of heel.

If you knew me personally, you would know that I hate doing my hair in the morning. My hair is really straight (so straight that braids have trouble staying in). Therefore, I basically put my hair up in a low and messy bun. But when I found some awesome hair tutorials on A Cup of Joe, I couldn't help but be amazed how pretty some of them were! Above are four of my favorite and the ones that I really want to try this summer! Don't you love how natural and effortless they look?

Zara shirt, DIY ombre shorts

HAPPY FRIDAY! Only two more fridays until I finish school! And another bit of fantastic news! My wonderful mother has agreed to take outfit pictures for me, so I'm officially saying bye to mirror pics (thank god!). I was really surprised by how good she was; she's really good at focusing and getting the right light! who agrees with me!?

I bought this Zara shirt during my trip in Boston and haven't had a chance to wear it! I love Zara's shirts in general because the material is really nice, but I really love this shirt in particular! The girl on the shirt is so freaking cute; I wish I could dance like that, haha. I made my ombre shorts a few days ago! It's really easy to DIY them, so I'll do a post on making them!
